I’m Natalie, and I’ve always been drawn to two things: beautiful interiors and the sea. There’s something about the combination of a thoughtfully designed space and the sound of water that just makes everything feel right.

As a busy self-employed mum to three children (and our much-loved dogs), life can be wonderfully chaotic. I wanted somewhere we could all escape to — somewhere that felt special, somewhere we could slow down, breathe, and make memories together.

I discovered Appledore quite by chance, and fell completely in love. The quaint streets, the estuary views, the salty air — it felt like the kind of place you dream about. I knew immediately that this was where I wanted to create our little retreat.

Our pretty pink cottage needed a lot of love when I found it, but that’s exactly the kind of project I thrive on. I threw myself into renovating and decorating every corner of it, pouring care and attention into every detail — the kind of detail that only comes from wanting to create something truly special.
